Black & Brown in the Middle (BBITM) is a media platform and collective of creatives amplifying the voices of everyday Black, Brown, and Indigenous folks that have been ignored by mainstream media.

BRanded message development

In 2022, Yates Creative supported BBITM in developing a fully branded message platform highlighting its values and its work uplifting BIPOC media makers. Through team interviews, extensive research and landscape analyses, we created a fresh narrative speaking to the essence of their work, and settled on a new core message: "healing through storytelling, on our own terms". 

We then adapted the newly developed language for their website. And concluded our collaboration by developing a detailed digital strategy offering guidance on how the organization can grow its audience across social media.
